Given by J.Salmon as a sponge cake moistened with spirits, topped with ice cream and fruit, all covered in meringue and lightly baked, but not found in any published work and unknown to the Bridgwater Carnival Committee.

However, our 2017 investigations, including members of the Bridgwater Carnival Committee, found no record of such a dish, compounding the view that J.Salmon books as significantly just made up.

Bridgwater Carnival is held annually on the Friday after the nearest Thursday to the 5th November and is said to be the largest illuminated street Carnival in the world.
