1 bottle red wine
12 lumps sugar
6 cloves
1 pt boiling water
1/4 pt curacao
1/4 pt brandy
nutmeg

Pour the wine into a saucepan, add the sugar and cloves and bring to near boiling point. Add the boiling water, curacao and the brandy. Pour into glasses and grate nutmeg on top.
