Lincoln Biscuit

Circular, medium-bake, shortcake biscuits with a pattern of raised dots on the top in concentric circles. The origin is not clear.

Argentina has a popular 'Galletitas Lincoln', a biscuit of similar form, also with raised dots, but rectangular in shape and available in a number of flavours including chocolate and coconut.

Statutory Instrument 1997 No.1473 of the The National Health Service (General Medical Services) (Scotland) Amendment (No.2) Regulations 1997 controls the supply of gluten-free Lincoln Biscuits.
