Sweet, medium-bake white wheatflour biscuits with milk and malt. Different makers use slightly different decorations, but all are rectangular and have the image of a cow in the centre and a border of stylized grain sheaves, often including the words 'MALTED MILK'. Typically 2½ins x 1½ins x ¼ ins thick.



Possibly devised by Elkes Biscuits of Uttoxeter (now owned by Fox's Biscuits) in 1924, but this requires confirmation.
