Prunus domestica 'Victoria'

According to 'Traditional Foods of Britain' by Laura Mason and Catherine Brown (Mason+Brown 2004), the Victoria was found as an evolutionary accident in Alderton in Sussex in 1840, and is by far England's leading plum with 200 commercial producers growing around 7,000 tons per year.
